Bill Gates: Vaccines Save Lives | Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
A nice initiative taken by the Bill Gates Foundation. The concept again is very meaningful and to the point. The way they tried to put all the elements in to the shape and environment of the vaccine at the end is very impressive. Plus they have mentioned India as the only country to have worked the most towards the eradication of this cause. Good going India!!

Kudos to Studio EEKSAURUS....
EEKSAURUS creates theme film for Italian FilmFest....
Studio Eeksaurus, India created this film as a gift to RIVER TO RIVER INDIAN FLORENCE FILM FESTIVAL on their 10th Anniversary. Conceptualized and animated under E.Suresh’s (Suresh Eriyat) direction, it captures the essence and spirit of India.
Another one of Suresh Eiyar's creations.... again using very simple, day to day stuff.... :)
Haha.... Awesome track-down of the history of the Most Famous Diamond on earth - Kohinoor. You gotta see the expressions of the characters and the story line is so gripping.... Again simple drawings used and animated in a single direction to show the pass-on of the diamond.... Lovely....

A Day in the Life of India
Times Of India, 3rd February 2011 Edition
Bizarre. Overloaded. Technicolor.
Chaotic. Golmaal. Jugaad. Chalta Hai.
Was just going through the newspaper, and this front page graphic caught my eye.... Would tell you to definitely have a closer look.... Love the several characteristics of the Indian culture put into it...Especially that me being a gujju, loved the "JIGNESH THEPLAA BHANDAAR"... haha.... Had a nice laugh at each one of them.... :D Graphics by Neelabh... M surprised at how he fit it all in one....He has definitely come up with other editions too... Wait until I find them....will keep you posted... :)

Inspirations
This ad features is an HIV AIDS awareness campaign commercial created by Vaibhav Kumaresh. Now this is something that inspires me totally.... Minimal, simple, Indian.... the set designed for this ad by Vaibhav Sir is absolutely amazing... using the most common things available around... The expressions amazing... done in 2d after the entire commercial was shot.
Again Vaibhav Sir.... Amaron battery commercial... Lovely Indian characters and shot in 3d... Cant say much about this... Jus keep watching and watching... :)
The traditional 3d - Ooga Booga Commercial for Neo Cricket by Vaibhav Sir.... had done a case study on this one.... Love the characters....
Chulbuli... A Clinic Plus Commercial... Simplistic and meaningful.... jus a couple of drawings and colors used makes it appealing world wide... :)
Another one of the same series.... jus cant get enough of her....
A Sagar Cement Commercial... Has a real loud background score to it... Half the comedy arrives only from the music of it... Must watch.... Had done acase study on this one too - the storyboards, characterisations, theme, camera angles etc.
And nothing can compare to this one... It does look very simple but it must have taken them a hell lot of time to create these clay characters.... n all of them looking perfectly super... Has to be vaibhav sir's creation cos its an Indian theme again.... Cant beat that.... Super!!

PIXELATED
DEADLINE....
Can truly understand what this fellow feels like... happens to me all the time.... lazed and dazed... :)
Classic Stop-Motion
THIS IS WHERE WE LIVE
This video probably defines stop motion the best....the animation by Apt with Asylum Films creates the setup with only books, books and books.... amazing to see how characters come out from the cover and travel to their destination....4th Estate.... Their traditional old book lines define the body of the characters and not one but many.... Kudos!! :)
A SHORT LOVE STORY
Well even I tried my hand at stop motion and claymation....didnt turn out that good...but yes m still improving on that one...
A SHORT LOVE STORY
By Carlos Lascano.... Amazing combo of two different environments....Simplistic expressions.... So lets not write too much and let it remain simple... :)

Pixars latest Short : Day and Night
DAY AND NIGHT
Pixar's new short film.... Love the concept and the visualization... They have kept it simple with like two appealing characters, simple day and night scenes but very effective... gotta watch it at-least once.... :)Thursday, January 27, 2011
Masterclass 1 @ Pune: Day 1
![]() |
| Live Sketch |
This was one of my sketches during Masterclass 1 @ Pune.... Awesome experience sketching live at Vaibhav Sir..... Tried to capture the cloth - his T-shirt and capris.....the flow of it...

| Superfast |

| Coming Alive... |
Vaibhav Sir with one of his 20 sec live sketches..... probably captured the essence of the pose in a minimal time rate.... Love the charcoal stick effect...can even smudge it for that "great artist sketch" look....
![]() |
| Hello... u went wrong there!! |
Our final review of sketches with all three - Vaibhav Sir, Tony Sir and Vivek Sir.... Strange even one of the simplest stick figures amaze vaibhav sir... So its not all about complexity and detail... The action at the moment is all you need to be relatable enough... Something that I learnt back then...
![]() |
| Is that my head drawn perfectly?? |
This one image says it all.....the basic fundamentals of traditional classic animation.... Any animator would be lame without knowing this.... The traditional Walk cycle and Run cycle... and the best part - no one can match up to the precise accuracy of the poses that Vaibhav Sir draws... that too like in 2 secs... Hes like a live book... dont need anything further than that... :)

Well, wish I had taken science seriously in my school days... :( coz that's what m leaning now.... Anatomy of the body for drawing perfect characters for animation....trust me... no one wants a dismantled piece of character sketch... gotta get your basics right!!

Be it gaming characters or even cartoons, anatomy is alwys important!!! Proved by : Vaibhav Sir.... Even his cartoons dont disobey!! :)

Spot the difference. True Genius.... Love it!! :) :) :)
